According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will take part in the UN Summit on Sustainable Development on September 24-27, 2015, which is taking place within the framework of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly.

The program of the delegation’s stay in New York also includes bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries participating in the session.

По сообщению gazeta.uz24 сентября — день празднования Курбан хайита — объявлено выходным днем. Соответствующее постановление 18 сентября подписал Президент Узбекистана Ислам Каримов.

«Принимая во внимание обращение Управления мусульман Узбекистана о совпадении в текущем году первого дня Курбан хайита с 24 сентября (четвергом), объявить 24 сентября 2015 года выходным днем и широко отметить в стране как праздник», — говорится в документе.

Республиканским фондам «Нуроний», «Махалла» и другим соответствующим ведомствам, общественным организациям поручено «организованно и на высоком уровне, в соответствии с национальными ценностями нашего народа осуществить необходимые мероприятия в связи с проведением Курбан хайита на местах».
