According to the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, consideration by Senators of the Law on Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further strengthening reliable protection of private property, business entities, the lifting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, was of special importance at the forthcoming plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis barriers for their accelerated development «, developed in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 15, 2015″ On measures to ensure uw reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship, the removal of barriers to their rapid development. »

The law provides for the introduction of amendments and additions to more than 40 legislative acts affecting virtually all aspects of the activities of business entities, ranging from state registration, business conduct, relations with controlling, law enforcement and other state bodies, ending with the protection of their rights and legitimate interests, and liberalization of responsibility.

Another real embodiment of the tasks set out in the President’s Decree was the norm introduced into the Law «On guarantees of freedom of entrepreneurial activity» aimed at improving the procedure for using privileges and preferences provided for by legislation for business entities. In accordance with the adopted law, the Single Register of Benefits and Preferences is created on the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services. This will allow entrepreneurs to find out in a timely manner about the available benefits provided by legislation to them, and freely use them.

The senators also considered a number of other changes and additions to the current legislation provided for by this law, including changes to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, laws «On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan», «On the Prosecutor’s Office», «On Regulatory Acts» the implementation of the adopted legislative acts, decisions of the President of the country and aimed at further improving the organizational and legal mechanisms for ensuring lawfulness in the activities of state bodies government, local authorities, as well as security and law and order. The law is approved by senators.
